Doesn’t always suck

Sometimes you win. It’s geek but I like it. I learned to mount my NAS drive with Gnome (gvfs). So I could run the Coherence MediaStore importer on my music library. It found problems. Oh frabuous jay! Really. It was good to find the damn errors — there were several and I’m not claiming all will be forever perfect. I’m not a politician so I can’t promise perfection. There’s a still a few bugs lurking in those mp3 files and folders and metadata.

But, Coherence now sucks less that the Pcast DLNA server on my Buffalo NAS. To quote yet to be canonized Saint Bob Marley “Give thanks and praises”

YAMJ ? dead end for me. It’s good to know when you’re gone down the wrong path.

Posted in DLNA troubles.
